2. Reservations and bookings
Reservations can be made via the website, by phone or in person. We try to honour every booking and may adjust or cancel one if we need to. Please tell us as soon as you can if you need to cancel or change a reservation. We may apply a cancellation fee, especially for large groups. Group bookings may need a deposit or prepayment. Ask us for the details.
3. Pricing and payments
Prices are shown on our menus and on this website and may change without notice. We accept major credit and debit cards, and cash. Payment is due at the time of service unless we agree otherwise. A service charge may apply for larger groups or special events, and we will say so when you book.
4. Age restrictions
You must be 18 or older to buy alcohol. We may ask for proof of age and refuse service if suitable identification is not provided. Some events have their own age rules. Please check before you book or come along.
5. House rules and conduct
We expect guests to be respectful to staff and to other customers. We may refuse service or ask someone to leave if behaviour is inappropriate. Children must stay seated at the table. Please do not allow a child to walk or run around the pub unattended, or to disturb other customers. Children must leave by 7.30pm at the latest, or earlier if a member of staff asks. Dogs are welcome on a lead, sitting quietly by your table. If a dog becomes distressed or a nuisance, we will ask you to take the dog outside. We follow local health and safety rules; please follow staff instructions. Guests are responsible for damage to our property, whether intentional or accidental, and may be charged for repairs or replacements.
6. Gift cards and vouchers
Gift cards and vouchers are non-refundable and valid for the period stated when you buy them. They cannot be exchanged for cash and must be used in full during a single visit unless we say otherwise.
7. Events and promotions
We host quizzes, themed nights and private gatherings. Details, including prices, are on this website or in the pub. Promotions depend on availability and their own conditions. We may change or withdraw a promotion at any time without notice.

Text, images and graphics on this website belong to The Wych Elm or are licensed to us. Please do not reproduce or distribute them without written consent. Links to other websites are outside our control.
9. Limitation of liability
We work hard to give you a good evening. We are not liable for loss or damage from the use of our services unless it is caused by our negligence, or for events outside our control, including natural events, strikes or other circumstances we could not foresee.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
